Bamboo and wood are two of the most common materials used to make furniture and both are contenders for sustainable production materials and have been used for centuries.

As we know Bamboo grows in abundance, it is usable within 3-4 years. However a 60 ft tree needs 60 years to recover, Bamboo 60 days! Replacing wood with Bamboo where possible is clearly an effective protection for our forest resources.

Bamboo is one of the strongest materials available. It grows in areas that endure heavy rains, wind, and the harshest of environments. Wood is able to withstand many things but light and water are not always productive.

It can be considered that Bamboo has superior physical properties to those of wood. Bamboo is incredibly hard, high in density and scratch resistant. It is water resistant, resistant to shrinking, cracking, and deformation.

In addition Bamboo has a beautiful natural pattern, it is well proportioned and striking in colour and lustre.

Bamboo surprisingly also has a great capability for sound insulation.

Increased development with modern bamboo is a viable solution for the shortage of solid wood. Protecting our forest resources and in conjunction contributing to economic structure.
