Bailey Streetscene collaborated on a Building Project of the Year 2020

Mid Group Ltd have won Building Project of the Year 2020 for Lymington Fields School with an award of £10m.

The award is part of SECBE’s Construction Excellence awards with only 18 awards being given out for 2020. Due to Covid-19, SECBE held three online 'head-to-head' judging sessions each followed by an award ceremony. The top two finalists presented to their expert judging panels in a private event. The panels then deliberated and announced the winners in three subsequent live webinar awards ceremonies.

Mid Group Ltd’s project, Lymington Fields School was a £26 million project. The newly built school was designed by architects Bond Bryan Ltd and is part of an all-through facility, that includes two separate buildings for the Primary and Secondary years.

Bailey Streetscene contributed to the project with an extensive canopy to surround a large external section of the Lower School building. The Moreton Canopy runs along the side of the building, close to the main entrance and around key walkways. Litter bins, cycle stands and bollards were also supplied to the project.
